Cencosud announced the incorporation of Ignacio Monteverde as new General Manager of Home Improvement in Argentina, which includes the Easy and Blaisten brands. Its arrival seeks to accelerate business growth, strengthen its commercial capabilities and continue promoting an integrated omnichannel proposal, leveraged on the synergies of its multiformat ecosystem and the connection between physical and digital channels.

Monteverde is an Industrial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina and has an MBA from the IAE Business School. With more than 20 years of experience in retail, he has led commercial areas, operations, marketing, e-commerce and business intelligence in Argentina, Chile and Mexico, promoting growth, expansion and transformation processes.

In his new role, he will lead the Home Improvement division of Cencosud in Argentina and will report to the Country Manager, Dolores Fernández Lobbe. His experience in strategy, operation, digital transformation and customer focus will be key to driving business growth, strengthening collaboration between teams and continuing to develop an integrated omnichannel proposal between Easy and Blaisten, in line with the new market dynamics.

From Cencosud they highlighted that the incorporation of Monteverde will contribute to strengthening the Home Improvement business in Argentina and advance the challenges of growth, transformation and omnichannel development, in line with the company's purpose of serving in an extraordinary way at all times.
