The Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) highlights the announcement of the new line of credit for SMEs for $100,000 million, with rates between 25 and 29%, which can be used for working capital, payment to suppliers and check discounting. “For some time now we have been requesting differential rates from CAME to reactivate production,” highlighted Gerardo Díaz Beltrán, head of the entity.

“This decision, together with the advancement of the Non-Taxable Minimum for employer contributions to regional economies, are going in the right direction to reactivate the economy and strengthen SMEs,” said Díaz Beltrán after the announcement at Casa Rosada and again highlighted the willingness for dialogue to find solutions. “Minister Sica committed to holding periodic meetings to monitor the scope of the credit lines, since many times in the interior it takes a while for the guidelines to reach the branches, which prevents the procedures from being accelerated.”

“We have a lot of work ahead of us, such as a new, more comprehensive SME Law so that small and medium-sized companies can regain competitiveness and profitability,” concluded the president of CAME.
