Coronavirus: 19 hospitals receive rest containers for health personnel. They are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, electric kettles and everything necessary to give them a break from their long work days.

Within the framework of the health emergency that we went through more than 100 days ago, health personnel are one of the protagonists on the front lines. Day after day, they are the ones who risk their lives to care for the sick, exposing themselves to the virus and sacrificing hours of sleep, health and well-being.
“Containers for those who contain us” consists of the installation of rest spaces so that health personnel can take a break during long work days, in the most similar way to their homes. Through this action, ATMA seeks to respond to one of the specific needs experienced in hospitals, providing support for those who care for the lives of Argentines.

"We have entered a very difficult stage of the pandemic and we feel that it is time to be closer than ever. As a brand we have decided to direct our resources to accompany those who take care of us daily, recognizing their effort and sacrifice" expressed Marcelo Romeo, Marketing, Communications and Press Manager of Atma. And he adds: "we have observed, as in other countries, health personnel did not have containment spaces. With ATMA we set out to do something with that reality and for a few weeks they have already been working and, the most important thing, is that doctors value it very much."
Equipped with brand products, the containers are attached to the Emergency Fever Units (UFU) that the Government of the City of Buenos Aires currently has in high-complexity hospitals to safely care for patients with fever and suspected symptoms of COVID-19.
"ATMA is a brand that has been in the homes of Argentines for 90 years, being part of the family. It is a close brand and from that place this idea was born. Being where we have to be. These spaces are a place of containment that, in turn, seek to transmit the gratitude and support of everyone with the health personnel," complements Jimena Alcibar, Brand Manager of Atma.

The action is carried out at the Pirovano, Tornú, Vélez Sarsfield, Alvarez, Zubizarreta, Santojanni, Cecilia Grierson, Piñero, Penna, Ramos Mejia, Durand, Muñiz, Moyano/Borda, Elizalde, Ferrer, Argerich, Gutierrez, Rivadavia and Fernandez Hospitals.
