Designed for the surveillance of large and exposed spaces under inclement weather, and where the perimeter environment is too complex for the implementation of video surveillance cameras alone. Thanks to its reliability under all weather conditions, its wide detection angle and its ultra-precise intrusion detection capabilities, this cutting-edge solution is ideal for locations such as ports, airports and large open industrial areas.

Accurate detection over a wide area

Traditional cameras or motion detectors, such as Active Infrared and Video Motion Detection, have limitations in locating the exact location of a potential intruder related to their detection area. However, Hikvision Security Radar can offer accurate detection over a wide angle of 100° and up to a distance of 60 m.

Fewer false alarms

Hikvision Security Radar uses digital beamforming technology and intelligent analysis algorithms to accurately detect all movements under all weather conditions, keeping false alarms to a minimum. What's more, its IP67 certified cover guarantees the protection of the equipment against all inclement weather.

Visual intrusion verification via video link

The Hikvision Security Radar can also be linked simultaneously with four Hikvision PTZ dome cameras. This setting will not only activate an alarm upon detection of an intruder, but will also activate video recording, to assist with visual verification of the intruder. Additionally, cameras and radar can be installed in different locations. This Hikvision patented video link solution is unique and allows users to view, accurately track and simultaneously record multiple images of objects, while identifying their precise movements such as running, walking, crouching and crawling.

Suitable for multiple applications

The Hikvision Security Radar has multiple scene modes, which is convenient for a variety of applications. For example, Bush Mode is best suited to areas surrounded by dense vegetation, and is able to filter out false alarms such as shaking trees or heavy rain. Free Zone Mode is ideal for large, open and critical locations, such as ports. And Customization mode allows users to adjust settings to suit their particular needs.

Flexible installation and easy connection

The Hikvision Security Radar is compatible with a wide variety of mounts, such as Bullet PTZ mounts, for easy installation. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) allowing users to plug and operate easily.

Engineer Martín Hanono, New Business Manager at Hikvision, says: "We are very pleased that our advanced Security Radar solution is coming to market in such an innovative way. We are confident that the ability to detect exactly dozens of intruders at a time, day and night, and in all weather conditions, will add incredible value to a variety of organizations worldwide."
