The methods used to enter a property evolved and this forced security specialists to develop new tools to protect homes and businesses. The market offers technologies that function as the first barrier for immediate action against intruders and that cloud their vision to prevent theft.

A European security company that has been operating in Argentina for four and a half years developed a device capable of generating a zero visibility situation that thwarts theft while it is being committed. It is an intelligent alarm that works by detonating dense, but non-toxic smoke, which prevents criminals from seeing the environment, making it impossible for them to take what they want.

"We generate a very good brand memory among Argentines. ZeroVision is an approved and certified product in accordance with the Private Security regulations that offers a lifetime guarantee, with technical service, repair and replacement of parts," assures Juan Ignacio Vidal, Verisure Marketing Director in the country.

This device, developed in the R&D centers in Europe, acts as an inhibitor of the theft situation and helps to “gain time”, while specialists from the Alarm Receiving Center activate a protocol specially designed for the occasion.

In 2023, ZeroVision managed to thwart more than 400 attempted robberies in homes and businesses, and more than 70% of Verisure's client portfolio choose it since the smoke does not affect pets or plants, and does not stain or break furniture or appliances.

In business, it is the most chosen anti-theft method within CABA and AMBA, due to its immediate action and because “you cannot steal what you cannot see”, since thieves are always looking for the money collected and manage to take what is sold.

"Since we decided to add ZeroVision to the country in 2021 until today, more than half of our clients throughout Argentina have requested it. Of the total number of homes that trust Verisure, more than 60% of people have the device installed and, in businesses, just over 50% of our total portfolio", comments Carlos Beltrán Rubinos, Director of Operations of the company in Argentina.

Imagining what an alarm is capable of is difficult. For this reason, Verisure created a trailer that simulates the living room of a house where sporadic detonations will be made, so that people can know what the maximum deterrence generated by the ZeroVision smoke cloud is in a matter of seconds. He was present at the Distrito Arcos shopping center last weekend and will continue touring other locations in Argentina to bring the ZeroVision experience.

“This action is step number one of a tour of Argentina that the ZeroVision trailer will carry out throughout 2024, visiting different points in the provinces where the brand has a presence.” concludes Juan Ignacio Vidal.
