The national government renewed the “Simple Fee” program that will be valid until December 31.

The Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) celebrates the inclusion of the possibility of financing in 9 and 12 installments, the addition of new items and the extension until the end of the year of the Cuota Simple program, three requests that the entity made to the Secretary of Commerce, Pablo Lavigne. "This tool is essential to encourage consumption, especially in this context of declining retail sales. According to our latest report, sales of SME businesses have accumulated a drop of 18.4% in the first four months of the year," said the president of CAME, Alfredo Gonzalez.

The Ministry of Commerce published this Friday in the Official Gazette Resolution 69/2024 that extends the program that aims to encourage consumption. To the 29 existing items, 6 more were added that were requested by CAME: construction materials and machinery; automotive and motorcycle spare parts; video surveillance cameras, video surveillance systems; personal care services; and tourism as a permanent sector.

“These improvements to the Simple Quota, which will allow us to expand our sales possibilities in this time of tight pockets, were able to be carried out due to the monetary policy of lowering interest rates that the Central Bank is carrying out,” stated the Secretary General of CAME, Ricardo Diab.

Thus, the new direct rates, which are applied within a period of 10 business days from the completion of the sale, are:

3 installments: 6.03%

6 installments: 11.45%

9 installments: 16.45%

12 installments: 21.07% (in 10 business days) or 16.30% (in 60 consecutive days).
