The Oster brand has been accompanying Bocas Abiertas for some time; On this occasion, it redoubles its bet and participates as an official sponsor in its new 2019 edition. It is the Bajo de San Isidro cuisine festival that brings together the best chefs, between open classes and hot pots, and a legion of diners ready to enjoy. From Thursday, October 3 to Sunday, October 6, under the motto “Friendliness”, it will take place at the Municipal Exhibition Center (Del Barco Centenera and the river).
The chef Felicitas Pizarro, today a jury for the fifth season of “El Premio de la Cocina”, El Gordo Cocina and Mamá Sana, all ambassadors of the brand in Argentina, will hold Oster classes. Felicitas will present three irresistible dishes: a creamy humita with sweetbreads, a fried chipá and a third dish that will be a surprise.
On the other hand, all the chefs participating in the festival will use the small Oster allies for their exquisite preparations.
“I have been in Bocas Abiertas since the 2nd edition and for me it is the festival that understood everything,” said Feicitas Pizarro. "It is the only festival in which I participate because of the spirit it has and because year after year it seeks to reinvent itself and generate more content. As with the Oster brand, I feel at home; the energy there is different from other festivals. In addition, it is outdoors and that is what I like the most," concluded the cook.
Under the open sky, with the flavors of the neighborhood and the best chefs in action. Thus arrives the VII edition of the Bocas Abiertas festival, an explosion of aromas with 30 selected exhibitors, including restaurants, chefs, caterers, food trucks, pastry shops and ice cream parlors. Also classes, market, live music and raffles.
Among the novelties of the festival is the Conscious Sector-Calma Style to leave the routine behind with talks, classes, demonstrations and activities to connect with three key axes: personal well-being, food and the environment. The little ones? Welcome, they will have somewhere to have fun at My First Festival/Rolling Happiness, a space designed for them with games, music to relax, special menus to eat right there, parking for strollers and other proposals to leave adults and children calm and happy.
To delve into the culinary secrets, more than fifteen classes and talks with those who know the most, such as Christophe Krywonis, Maru Botana, Christian Petersen, Juliana López May, Juan Braceli, Iwao Komiyama, Felicitas Pizarro, Marta Ramírez and Martín Lukesch, among many others.
Thus, from the food court, ideal for a break and meeting, to a producers' market to explore and buy at a slow pace, with a special place for vegetable gardens and designers of items related to gastronomic work. The wine, unavoidable when sitting at the table, will have its tasting point under the guidance of the experts from the Argentine School of Sommeliers, while another essential, the coffee, will have two places to delight in the aromas and flavors of a national weakness.
+ The festival will not open in case of rain on any of its days and will continue on the following days. With bad weather forecast for the four days, it will be moved from October 10 to 13.
