After several decades, the traditional grinder has evolved in the electric grinder, which can crush the grain applying different speeds and therefore obtain different sizes.

"El Molinillo is a fundamental tool for the home barista," said Nicolás Artusi @SommelierDecafe, the Oster ambassador to the coffee field. "There are good reasons for grinding coffee at home: grain coffee is better preserved for longer, one can choose the exact granulometry for the type of coffee maker that it has and also the smell of coffee, that incomparable perfume, is released when the grains are ground and let everything that they hide inside it is airing," he explained with passion in the field.

The new Oster® electric grinder has 18 custom thick settings, and a coffee quantity selector to achieve perfect portions. In turn, it has capacity for ¼ kg of coffee in grains.

Its removable coffee chamber allows to easily transferred coffee powder, and has a removable and easy to clean. In turn, it includes a spoon and a brush for easier cleaning.

The optimal use of a coffee grinder is not crushing the grain for a long time, since the fact that the grains are heated is not the most appropriate for the conservation of coffee properties.

When the grains are shown with a coffee grinder, the ideal is to consume it in a short period of time. If you do not plan to do it, keep the ground coffee in a bowl that preserves it from moisture, light and air. Grain coffee retains better all its organoleptic properties, that is, flavor and aroma than if it were already ground. This is because ground coffee has more air contact surface and then begins to oxidize and lose properties.
