In dialogue with BAE Negocios, Leonardo Jacobson, managing partner of Liliana, assured that the company plans to expand the plant by 10,000 square meters, which would allow it to grow by 50% in surface area. For this, 2,000 million pesos will be invested and 350 workers will be added. Between 2019 and 2021, the company doubled the number of employees, from 600 to 1,150, of which 300 are women.

"In the new plant we will make a range of products: electric ovens, something that until now we imported, and electric kettles with which we will also replace imports. Everything will be equipped with technology, new machinery, a smart warehouse, all with industrial 4.0 technology," Jacobson announced.

In December, Liliana held a day at the Granadero Baigorria plant, province of Santa Fe, where design, die manufacturing, plastic injection, sheet metal cutting and stamping, and part assembly are carried out, to celebrate the search for equity by incorporating 300 women who work in the areas of machining, die-casting, assembly, surveillance, quality control, medicine, warehouse and injection among other sectors of the production line, which compared to previous years represents a progress in gender equality.
