10 years ago, LG Electronics presented its first OLED television, models that today are thinner, brighter and more flexible than the crystalline layers of a traditional LED or LCD.

In 2013 LG launched its first OLED TVS, such as the 55” EA8800, winner of the CES 2013 Innovation Award. At CES 2023, the company presented new OLED models, such as the LG Signature OLED M, the first fully wireless 97”, 4K and 120 Hz, which received the CES 2023 Innovation Award.

Another innovation is the LG Signature OLED T with a transparent screen, in which you can choose different themes to blend in with the environment and achieve a visual effect. It also won an innovation award at CES 2023. On the LG Gaming Solution side, two OLED gamer screens were presented: such as the LG Ultra Gear OLED (2K and 4K 240Hz, with a response of 0.03 milliseconds) and the 42″ Gaming OLED FLEX 4K. They have HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity to connect next-generation consoles.

Greater selection of gaming services

LG Electronics also showcased at CES 2023 its commitment to delivering a premium gaming experience on the TV through the new webOS UI with a dedicated game center, the addition of the Amazon Luna cloud gaming service, and smooth 4K 60 FPS streaming gameplay via NVIDIA GeForce NOW on its latest TVs.

Cloud gaming services, which can be accessed from the LG Game Card in webOS 2023, including by voice commands, offer numerous game titles from partners such as NVIDIA, Blacknut, Utomik and now Luna and Boosteroid, without downloads or additional hardware. LG OLED TVs offer gamers ultimate gaming fluidity with superior picture quality, ultra-fast 0.1 millisecond response, super-low input lag, and a more personalized gaming experience through customization features such as Game Optimizer and genre-specific picture settings.
