Xiaomi announced the launch of the Redmi A3, the most recent addition to the family of entry-level smartphones. With an elegant design, a large high refresh rate screen, typical of high-end models and dual camera with AI, among other features. In this way, the Chinese brand elevates the user experience in competitively priced smartphones to new levels of functionality and elegance.

Dual camera with AI and immersive screen

All models of the Redmi A3 feature a large, finely detailed circular camera that features different brightness depending on the refraction angle and lighting environment. With an ultra-thin 8.3mm body, the Redmi A3 offers a robust, elegant hand feel optimized for comfort.

The Redmi A3 incorporates a 6.71-inch HD+ screen that makes watching videos and using social networks a very fluid experience thanks to its refresh rate of up to 90Hz, which provides a smooth and immersive experience, typical of high-end smartphone models. Display durability is ensured with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 protection, while enhanced eye protection is provided by DC dimming that reduces blue light exposure and flicker.

Sophisticated design and advanced functionality

The Redmi A3 prioritizes style, catering to the preferences of users looking for an affordable and elegant glass design, as well as those who prefer a more sober finish. Under bright light, the back panel of the Midnight Black is designed to resemble stars in the night sky, while the Star Blue variant reflects a rainbow-like glow that exudes sophistication and class. Also available in Forest Green, the Redmi A3 features a matte, textured and smudge-resistant back design that exudes rationality and refinement.

Performance and autonomy

Redmi A3 users can enjoy the enhanced AI dual camera system with an 8MP main camera backed by an auxiliary lens that allows for stunning photos. The 5MP front camera is bolstered by a bezel that softens skin tone and a soft ring light that illuminates selfies in low-light conditions.

The Redmi A3 supports advanced security features, including Face Unlock and fingerprint unlock using a fast and responsive side fingerprint sensor. With a 3.5mm headphone jack, the model is also equipped with a 10W USB Type-C charging port. It is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery that ensures performance of up to 29 hours of call time and up to 17 hours of video playback.

National production and availability

The Redmi A3 is nationally produced, manufactured in the Etercor-Solnik plants located in Tierra del Fuego, reaffirming Xiaomi's commitment to local development. Launched almost in parallel with the rest of the world, the Redmi A3 is available in the 3GB + 64GB internal memory configuration. Extended memory technology expands the available RAM up to 3GB, ensuring smooth loading and switching of apps, while additional storage is available via a microSD slot, which supports microSD cards up to 1TB.
