Returns Solve For Tomorrow in its 12th edition to inspire the next generation of Argentine students
With a federal approach, the new Call of Solve for Tomorrow invites students from Argentine public schools to create innovative solutions that positively impact their communities. Registration will be open until August 21

Samsung launches the 12th edition of Solve for Tomorrow, its global corporate citizenship program that invites students from public secondary schools throughout the country to propose innovative solutions to the challenges they face in their daily lives or in their communities. Participants can form teams of 2 to 5 members and present their projects on the challenge platform (www.solvefortomorrow.com.ar), addressing local problems through the Stem methodology (acronym in English for science, technology, engineering and mathematics). The call will be open Until August 21, 2025.
For the first time since its creation, the program will focus entirely on Argentina with the aim of promoting the scientific, technical and entrepreneurial vocations of young people between 12 and 19 years throughout the country, motivating them to answer a key question: How can STEM skills (science, technology, engineering and mathematics through its acronym in English) improve the problems of their environments?
Under the motto of this edition, "The future is with you"The proposal seeks to strengthen the leading role of new generations as agents of change in their communities. Through its three characteristic stages, Solve for Tomorrow It promotes the development of skills linked to social innovation and teamwork, with a strong imprint in the use of the Design Thinking methodology.
Program stages:
- Ideation: For four months, Samsung and the agency P-will visit public schools throughout the country to issue face-to-face workshops on project-based design and learning thinking. The teams may be made up of a minimum of two and a maximum of five students who must identify social problems and present their ideas in the official platform.
- Co-Creation: 50 prefinalist teams will be selected that will have the accompaniment of mentors to develop a prototype and validate their idea. This stage includes virtual workshops and personalized advice.
- Consolidation (bootcamp): The five finalist teams will access intensive training to strengthen their projects and prepare the final pitch they will present to a multidisciplinary jury in the closing event, which will be held on Wednesday, November 19 in person in the city of Buenos Aires.
Commitment to education and innovation
In this new edition of Solve for Tomorrow, Design Thinking workshops will continue in public schools in all provinces, with the technical support of Consciousness Association, which accompanies all participants throughout the entire program. These instances provide practical tools so that young people can identify real challenges and become true agents of change.
Since its arrival in the region in 2014, the program has impacted more than 32,400 students and teachers from 4,800 schools, promoting more than 8,090 projects with a social and environmental focus.
As every year, a jury made up of leaders from the educational, scientific and social fields will be in charge of evaluating the finalist proposals. They are: Gerardo Presman, Sr. Commercial Director of Samsung Consumer Electronics, Alejandro Germe, Director of the Diploma in Biobusiness at the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), Federico Wiemeyer, journalist specialized in technology, Andrea Renzo, content creator and founder of Tecno.Lógicas and Julieta Schulkin, Argentine journalist and author specialized in technology and digital culture.
“Solve for Tomorrow represents Samsung's sustained commitment to education, innovation and social development. For more than a decade we saw how thousands of young people transformed their ideas into projects with real impact. The durability of this program is a reflection of our conviction that the talent and creativity of new generations can generate deep and lasting changes in society when accompanied with concrete tools.”, He reflected Laura Lenzi, Head of Corporate Citizenship.
The power of ideas
In 2024, the winning project was Smart Bin, carried out by students from the Miguel Ángel Rodríguez National School in Asunción. Their proposal consisted of a smart container that processes organic effluents to generate electrical energy through biogas. The system included an anaerobic digestion unit connected to an electrical generator monitored with sensors and an Arduino Uno board. This solution promotes sustainable waste management, reduces polluting emissions and proposes an energy alternative for rural contexts such as livestock farming in Paraguay. Thanks to the use of STEM tools, the team combined science, technology and mathematics to optimize the process and offer an innovative proposal with positive environmental and social impact.
