Todomúsica: Good expectations for instruments and audio

With signs of reactivation and stabilizing demand, the company is betting on the growth of professional audio and home studio

Marcelo Pedace, Commercial Director of Todomusica, acknowledged that last year there was a drop in consumption, especially in medium and high ticket products, but towards the end of the year a reactivation was noted. “This year we expect demand to stabilize and we believe there will be opportunities in professional audio and home studio, which continue to expand”, said.

Regarding the demand, he maintained that it is sustained in entry-level and mid-range products, among those who are starting out in music or looking to equip small studios at home, and cited guitars, controllers, audio interfaces and monitoring speakers as the most sought-after products. “The demand for premium products was more selective,” he added. "The consumer prioritizes the relationship between price and quality and promotions and financing are key. Pedace highlighted that having leading brands in the professional segment, such as JBL and DB Technologies, positioned them solidly. “In addition, we offer our own financing for projects, an advantage to close operations and accompany clients with real solutions. Working with teams that transcend the entry level differentiates us in a market with an excessive supply of basic products, a saturation that will tend to stabilize and will make our value proposition more relevant.”

Pedace predicted opportunities for professional audio and home studio.

Audio is one of the pillars of Todomusica, and speakers, monitoring and PA, are in high demand, with a tendency towards compact and versatile solutions. “Users value wireless connectivity, software integration and affordable professional sound,” he concluded. “Brands that offer all-in-one solutions are gaining ground and this segment will continue to grow, in the amateur and professional markets.”
