Samsung introduced its fourth-generation foldable phones Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Galaxy Z Fold4, with increased productivity, customization capabilities and FlexCam experiences. Each component was carefully analyzed to provide a truly optimized experience and ensure that every consumer has a device that fits their needs.

Galaxy Z Flip4
The Galaxy Z Flip4 adds key features including a refined camera experience, larger battery and expanded customization, while maintaining the ultra-compact design. The Galaxy Z Fold4 opens up new possibilities by delivering Samsung's most complete smartphone experience to date, a shape-shifting design, immersive displays, PC-like multi-tasking features, advanced camera technology and powerful mobile processors.
It allows you to record hands-free videos or capture group selfies at various angles by partially folding it to activate the FlexCam, features that can even be enjoyed in your favorite applications.
Thanks to the partnership with Meta, FlexCam is optimized for the most popular social platforms, including Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. You can take high-quality selfies directly from the cover screen by leveraging the main camera with the updated Quick Shot, or start video recording in Quick Shot mode and then seamlessly switch to Flex mode to continue recording hands-free without stopping the video. Users can also take selfies in Portrait mode and preview them in the actual photo proportion when using Quick Shot. With an improved camera equipped with a 65% brighter sensor and powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Ger 1 mobile platform, photos and videos are clearer and more stable day or night.
It's designed to be truly hands-free: make calls, respond to texts, unlock your car, and even control the SmartThings Scene widget from the cover screen. You can capture, watch and connect for longer between charges with the expanded 3700mAh battery and with Super Fast Charging support it can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes.
Users can fully customize it inside and out, with Galaxy Themes on both the Cover and Home Screens to complement your style with custom fonts, icons and layouts. Additionally, they can create their own Cover Screen with new clock designs and backgrounds in various formats such as images, GIFs, and even videos.

Galaxy Z Fold4
The Galaxy Z Fold4 is the first device with Android 12L, a special version of Android created by Google for big screen experiences, including foldable ones. The new Taskbar has a PC-like design and access to your favorite applications. Multitasking is more intuitive thanks to new swipe gestures. Instantly switch full-screen apps to pop-ups or split your screen in half for more ways to multitask.
Google apps, including Chrome and Gmail, allow you to quickly drag and drop and copy and paste links or photos from one app to another. With Google Meet, users can connect with more people while enjoying virtual joint activities, including co-watching videos on YouTube or playing games on a video call. The entire portfolio of Microsoft Office and Outlook takes advantage of the foldable screen, providing more information and faster ways to interact with content. The multitasking experience is completed with S Pen functionality, which enables drawing and note taking with optimized storage within the Standing Cover.
The Galaxy Z Fold4 takes photos and videos with an enhanced 50MP wide lens and a 30x Space Zoom lens. A variety of camera modes, including the largest Zoom Map enabled in Capture View mode, Dual Preview and Rear Cam Selfie, can be customized to take advantage of the unique form factor for more shooting flexibility. With the largest pixel size, a 23% brighter sensor and improved processing power, you can capture clear images, even at night.
Content is more immersive and distinctive on the 7.6-inch main display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a less visible Under Display Camera (UDC) that features a new scatter subpixel arrangement. Apps like Facebook are optimized for the big screen experience, and you can also open your favorite streaming service apps like Netflix and watch hands-free with Flex mode. For non-optimized apps, users can control the device without making content disruptive with the new Flex Mode Touchpad, which offers precision when pausing, rewinding and playing videos, or zooming in and out of content while the device is in Flex Mode.
Gaming is also snappier thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Ger 1 mobile platform and hyper-fast 5G network.

With Armor Aluminum frames, hinge covers and exclusive Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the Cover Screen and rear glass, the Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 are Samsung's toughest foldables. The durability of the Main Display panel is also improved thanks to the optimized layer structure, which helps reduce damage caused by external shocks. Both the Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 are equipped with IPX8 water resistance.

Galaxy Buds2 Pro
Joining the Galaxy Z series are the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Samsung's top-of-the-line earbuds that deliver a more immersive wireless audio experience with compact design and seamless connectivity. Superior 24-bit Hi-Fi audio delivers high dynamic range and the design is 15% smaller, with secure fit to prevent rotation. Allows you to answer calls on the move with powerful ANC to eliminate outside noise. They feature TV Seamless Connection to provide an effortless transition from headphones to TV. Samsung's seamless codec enables seamless streaming of quality music, and the new 2-way coaxial speaker makes those sounds clearer than ever. They come in three soft, neutral shades: graphite, white and bora purple.

Galaxy for the Planet
Since the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung incorporated recycled materials not only in the packaging, but also in the hardware. They are the first steps of the Galaxy for the Planet initiative, which includes the continued incorporation of recycled plastics and the creation of new materials in partnership with leading sustainability partners. More than 90% of the new Galaxy Buds2 Pro are made with recycled materials. The new Galaxy Z series also incorporates plastics that would be destined for the ocean in key components and 100% recycled paper for its packaging and has been reduced in size by up to 58% compared to the first generation foldable Galaxy. This is equivalent to avoiding approximately 10,000 tonnes of carbon emissions from transport this year.
