Samsung adds to its TV offering a new The Frame model produced in Argentina. This TV, which simulates a work of art when turned off, is available in 55” and 65” formats. In this way, a new size is added to the Lifestyle TV portfolio and it can also be achieved with new frame options, with improvements in the Art Gallery and with an even more attractive design.
The Frame A series incorporates the Art Mode function with Dual LED. This technology involves an enhancement of the panel to increase the authenticity and originality of the artwork being projected, preventing loss of brightness by adjusting the color tone, from all angles, from the front and even from the side.
Both models contain more than 1,200 works in the Art Gallery, allowing the display of famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa or Van Gogh's Starry Night, or any photograph when the TV is off, thus providing technology and art in a single product. In addition, thanks to the connectivity of the Samsung ecosystem, photos can be uploaded to the TV from a smartphone or via a USB cable.
With the rise of digital works and NFTs in recent years, The Frame is the perfect ally to be able to share and show those works that would otherwise only remain archived. With this TV, the user can choose any digital work and project it on their TV for as long as they want on a design device like The Frame.
The Frame is a product notable for its aesthetics and minimalism, and with the new updates in terms of dimensions and design, these characteristics are enhanced even more. Samsung managed to reduce the depth of the television from 45.88mm to 24.9mm, meaning it is 54.3% thinner compared to the previous model.
This version comes with interchangeable frames that fit the design of any home in two color options: beige and walnut. In addition, it prevents the accumulation of visible cables thanks to its One Connect Box, a system that minimizes cable clutter by uncoupling its connection to the TV. This system includes a 3mm transparent cable for an invisible connection and a cleaner aesthetic that helps The Frame look even more like a work of art.
Another of the most notable features of The Frame is its “Slim Fit Wall-mount” support that eliminates the space between the wall and the TV, simulating the dimensions of a real art painting. The Frame thus achieves a sophisticated finish that is adaptable to any space.
With the commitment to continue adding products to the TV portfolio that are increasingly more environmentally friendly, this new model also has the solar remote control, a device that does not need batteries and can be charged with sunlight, artificial light or a USB C connector. In this way, Samsung hopes to reduce 99 million AA batteries globally in 7 years, which would be equivalent to reducing up to around 6 thousand tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
