With the recent measure taken by the company, consumers will have an additional warranty period for those that expired during this period.

It is time to stay safe and, above all, follow the recommendations of the national Health authorities. This is why Samsung Argentina announces the extension of the warranty period by one month for all warranties on the brand's product lines, including smartphones, televisions, tablets and the home line; expired during the period of social, preventive and mandatory isolation decreed by the National Government as of March 20, 2020. At this stage, in which the population is in quarantine, the company reinforces its commitment by offering full assistance by extending the guarantee period during the period of mandatory social distancing.

The measure, which includes the entire portfolio of products purchased by the consumer, will be valid for those who have a guarantee that would initially end during the current quarantine period and will be able to use it when normal activities resume.

Samsung also invests in remote services for consumer convenience, such as remote service, which allows a trained specialist to connect and resolve doubts or queries about products such as smartphones, tablets, TVs and home line devices, at no extra cost. For those devices that have Internet access, it is necessary for the user to contact them by phone to request and authorize this remote assistance option. In the case of those products that are within the portfolio of the home line, you will be able to access a technical service remotely by activating the cell phone camera so that the specialist can help you, live, to solve the problem.

In addition, chat support offers non-stop services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as the Samsung Members application; while the telephone service (0800-555-7267) will continue to be available every day, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
