It reached more than 25% market share, to continue being the best-selling brand in the category.

In 2019, the Air Conditioning market reached sales of 1.2 million units. For its part, the Inverter category reached 25% participation within Split air, marking accelerated growth with consumers choosing equipment that promotes energy efficiency and consumption savings of 40% compared to conventional equipment.
Diego Gorali, manager of Philco's Air Conditioning business unit, expressed "It is a satisfaction and a great challenge for the brand to continue leading the category in an increasingly competitive market. At Philco, we always seek to bring consumers a convenient proposal in the relationship between price and quality. It is a work sustained for many years that today allows us not only to be the most chosen brand, but also to obtain a great difference with respect to competitors. All equipment is manufactured in the plants that our company Newsan has in Ushuaia, always under the highest quality standards worldwide.”

It should be noted that in 2019 the brand launched the “You Have an Air” campaign, a creative idea that invited consumers to obtain great discounts on the purchase of their equipment. "Carrying out attractive campaigns in a "more rigid" category such as Air Conditioners is a great challenge but it quickly allows you to differentiate yourself from the rest of the players and see results in sales. "Tenes un Aire" was a playful and fun proposal and consumers got hooked," adds Marcelo Romeo, Marketing, Communication and Press Manager at Philco.
