The model is ideal to adapt to all types of spaces without losing the best image quality. With the 4K Ultra HD OLED 48CX, LG is addressing the growing demand for viewing on more screen sizes by expanding its OLED lineup into the mid-size TV market, complementing its already diverse 55, 65, 77 and 88-inch lineup.

The image quality of LG's OLED display technology, which features perfect blacks and infinite contrast thanks to self-illuminated pixels, is at the heart of the new 48-inch TV. The set reproduces even more vivid and sharp 4K image quality due to a significantly higher pixel density of 8 million pixels on a more compact screen, a density comparable to that of a 96-inch 8K TV. Delivering 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution on a 48-inch OLED display brings a next-level viewing experience to the mid-size TV category for the first time.

The LG OLED 48CX model offers the best image and sound quality that distinguishes OLED models and is an ideal option for video game lovers, as it combines superior image quality with outstanding gaming features. Being the first TVs in the industry to support NVIDIA G-SYNC® means graphics are reproduced seamlessly, increasing the sense of immersion gamers expect by matching the TV's refresh rate to the frame rate of the connected hardware. LG's self-emitting OLED technology employs the precision of individual pixel control to produce exceptional image quality, low input lag and ultra-fast response time, for an immersive gaming experience without the stuttering or latency common to most displays.

Additionally, it supports a variety of popular HDR formats such as Dynamic HDR10 and Dolby Vision at up to 120 frames per second for 4K UHD content, taking advantage of advanced HDMI specifications such as Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). LG's 2020 OLED TVs include HDMI VRR connectivity, making them compatible with a wide variety of gaming devices, such as graphics cards and consoles.

It also features the HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGiG) gaming profile. This means gamers can enjoy high-quality graphics when playing in HDR format through consoles on their LG TVs.

To increase the sense of immersion for gamers, the LG OLED 48CX also incorporates support for Dolby Atmos and LG's deep learning-based AI acoustic tuning, which understands the acoustic environment and adjusts the sound for greater precision. The TV is also ready to offer BT Surround, allowing you to connect two LG Bluetooth speakers simultaneously, mixing 2.0 channel sound with virtual 4.0 surround sound for greater immersion in your favorite games.
