Suppliers and retailers are preparing a preseason with the expectation that the weather will be better than last winter and with their eyes on economic measures.

After a winter that did not meet the market's climatic expectations, heating now faces a preseason marked by the changes that the economy will produce in all segments. In this framework, suppliers and retailers maintain the caution inherent in these circumstances and also with respect to the climate, which is ultimately the true arbiter.

“Last year we had an exceptional season,” said Roberto Lascia, Commercial Manager of Protalia. "We exceeded 130 thousand units with excellent response from our commercial partners and this season we face a challenging semester due to the great uncertainty of the arrival of a new Government, waiting for the development of new policies. It is important to highlight that Protalia managed to consolidate its market share year after year."

Regarding demand, Lascia said that a slight drop is expected compared to 2023. “Historically, the first place in volume was taken by the first-price heater, followed by infrared stoves and, in third place, glass-ceramic panels, towards which the consumer looking for a more aesthetic product is oriented and where a broader and more competitive offer was observed in recent seasons,” he added.
