continuous ink systems

Looking ahead to 2024, and with a certain recomposition of sales, he acknowledged that it is once again a year with many challenges. Regarding supply, he pointed out that last year we returned to normal levels of product availability, and although it was not 100% reflected in the local market, Epson, like other consumer electronics companies, saw that the availability of components and production capacity returned to practically normal levels. “Since 2011, we are clear that the global printing trend in the Home and SOHO segments is the continuous system,” he added. "Starting this year, Epson discontinues regional marketing of cartridge equipment, a clear message of the direction of the business, with users aware of the cost of printing, duration of supplies and waste generated. We migrated the entire portfolio to the Ecotank line, robust and reliable products with a continuous system." Hauscarriague acknowledged that multifunction devices already make up practically 80% of the continuous system equipment sold, although Epson has its Smart Panel App, useful for single-function equipment by giving them copy and scan capabilities through the smartphone camera.

GADNIC
