Huawei will once again launch a Mate in traditional format in Argentina
The MATE 80 PRO will mark the return of the series to Argentina since the Mate 20, launched in 2018. This is the most resistant Mate ever created, without sacrificing its design, ergonomics and touch feel.
It seems that the wait was worth it, almost a decade after Huawei launched its last Mate in Argentina, the company is preparing everything for its return with the MATE 80 PRO. And maybe you're wondering "what's the comeback?" Yes, the Mate X7 is already sold in the country, and the MATE 80 PRO will mark the return of the series in its traditional format (non-folding).
But the MATE 80 PRO is more than just a non-foldable Mate, it is a phone that honors the innovative DNA of the series, debuting several technologies that had not been seen in a smartphone until now.
Innovative technology for high performance
Not only does this smartphone have a large 5,750 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 80W wireless charging, but its real innovation is beneath the surface. It is the world's first phone with a dual phase change heat dissipation system, combining a vapor chamber with aerospace-grade materials that reduce temperatures up to 2.5°C more than the Mate 70 Pro, resulting in uncompromising performance, even in the most intense use sessions.
In addition to this, it has 16 GB RAM, 512 GB of storage and 21% improved performance thanks to Ark Engine technology, to enjoy improved operational speed, faster application launches and fluid multitasking.
The most resistant Mate so far
Huawei redefined durability standards with the MATE 80 PRO: vegan fiber back cover 5 times more resistant to impacts, aluminum frame with 39% more rigidity, Kunlun Glass 2nd generation 20 times more resistant to drops, and IP59 + IP58 certification to withstand high-pressure water and submersion up to 6 meters. It's basically a phone built to last as long as you demand it.
True-to-Colour Camera: Capture reality like never before
The MATE 80 PRO integrates True-to-Colour technology, which captures color with 44% more precision than the already revolutionary Ultra Chroma camera of the Mate X6. A standard that not only redefines mobile photography for the Mate series, but for the entire industry. Its rear module includes three RYYB cameras of up to 50 MP with OIS, 40 MP wide angle and macro telephoto with 4X optical zoom, all automatically activating this exclusive technology.
The legacy of the Mate series
The Mate series has 23 years of history, and since its launch in 2013 it has always sought to be the first phone to debut a new technology in the industry:
● Mate 1 – 2013: first smartphone with a 6.1” screen.
● Mate 7 – 2014: first with fingerprint unlocking with the screen off.
● Mate 9 – 2016: first phone with 22.5 W fast charging.
● Mate 10 – 2017: world's first AI NPU in a smartphone.
● Mate 20 – 2018: the world's first smartphone with an Ultra Wide Angle camera.
● Mate 30 – 2019: first time a smartphone implemented AI gestures in the air.
● Mate 50 – 2022: primer smartphone con Kunlun Glass.
● Mate 70 – 2024: world's first Ultra Chroma camera.
