Hotelga 2026 took place from September 2 to 4 at La Rural Predio Ferial in Buenos Aires, where it brought together companies, professionals and leaders from the hospitality, gastronomy and tourism sectors. In this edition, the exhibition expanded its proposal with two different pavilions – one dedicated to gastronomy and the other to hospitality – and an area of 14,000 m².

The fair had more than 200 exhibiting brands, including more than 40 companies that participated for the first time. The proposal was aimed at generating business contacts, learning about new products and services and accessing content linked to the evolution of the industry.

One of the axes of this edition was the incorporation of technology applied to the operation of hotels and gastronomic establishments. The Technology Hub concentrated proposals related to artificial intelligence, software, automation and robotics, while the exhibitors' conferences allowed them to learn about products, solutions and demonstrations.

The agenda also included content on the economic situation, investments, human resources, sustainability and technological transformation through the Hotelga Summit. The space brought together specialists to address some of the main challenges that the activity is currently experiencing.

On the gastronomic level, one of the main attractions was the Grand Final of the Federal Chefs Tournament, which brought together teams from different regions of the country. The contest ended with the victory of the Sarasanegro team, from Mar del Plata, made up of Facundo Niz and Javier Ibañez.

Another novelty was the holding, for the first time in Hotelga, of the World Pizza and Empanada Championship, organized by APYCE. The competition brought together professionals from different countries and took place in 12 categories during the three days of the exhibition.

Sustainability also had a prominent place with the final of the Sustainable Hospitality Contest, which recognized projects of tourist establishments and proposals developed by students from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.

The proposal was completed with spaces dedicated to wine, craft beer and vermouth, in addition to Hotelga ArDesign, oriented to Argentine design, and a Business Round aimed at facilitating meetings between suppliers and industry professionals.

Organized by FEHGRA, AHT and Messe Frankfurt Argentina, Hotelga once again functioned as a meeting point for a value chain that combines hospitality, gastronomy, tourism, equipment, technology and services.
