In alliance with the Italian giant, Piaggio Group, the company will expand its motorcycle portfolio with the nationally produced scooter.
Simpa Group, leader in the premium segment and with a presence in the two-wheeled business for more than ten years, announced the beginning of local production of the Aprilia SR 160 scooter. With two industrial plants in the country, the company adds this urban model to its line of nationally assembled vehicles.
The new Aprilia scooter range, powered by a 160cc, 3-valve, injection TECH FI technology engine, offers improved drivability, power, fuel economy and overall performance, providing a comfortable city driving experience. Equipped with front telescopic suspension, rear mono-shock absorber and 14” wheels, the largest in its segment, it provides a pleasant ride.

Aprilia SR 160, with an avant-garde, contemporary and aerodynamic design, inspired by the RSV1000 R Factory model, has a peak-shaped front apron, which integrates the double headlight in an original way, while the turn signal lights are integrated into the handlebar. In addition, it has a 6-liter fuel capacity, with a front ABS brake system with a 220mm disc and a 140mm drum brake at the rear. Equipped with an instrument panel with semi-digital speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer. Aprilia SR 160 will be the first of several products to be produced in Argentina in alliance with the Piaggio Group.
