With 110 years of experience, the BGH Group is positioned as a key reference in technology and innovation, providing smart solutions for people, companies and governments, with an active and growing presence in eleven countries on two continents.

On the other, its business culture, which has always promoted creativity and the search for advanced technological solutions. Both factors translate into the ability to develop products and services that satisfy the changing needs of customers", assured Demian Podolsky, Director of Corporate Affairs and Human Capital of the BGH Group.

The 110 years have found the BGH Group in the midst of a strategy of diversification, international expansion and permanent links with world-class international partners. It does this through its four business units: BGH Consumer, BGH Tech Partner, BGH Eco Smart and Positivo BGH.

The evolution

BGH was born in 1913 as a family business wholesaler of hardware products that quickly evolved into the technology business, becoming pioneers and leaders in the air conditioning, cell phone, color TV and microwave sectors.

Currently, together with a professional structure, the BGH Group continues to diversify its businesses and expand internationally through four business units: BGH Consumer, in the manufacturing and marketing of consumer products for the home; BGH Tech Partner, in providing cutting-edge technological solutions so that private companies and public organizations can lead the digital era; BGH Eco Smart, in the development of energy efficiency and smart building solutions for Companies, Governments and People; and Positivo BGH, in the manufacturing of products and the development of reliable and innovative computing services, which improve educational, entertainment and work experiences.


Four business units with international projection

BGH Consumer is the unit of the BGH Group that develops, manufactures and markets home products with advanced technology and cutting-edge designs. Over the years it has managed to be recognized as a pioneer company in the industry, consolidating its brands and developments for third parties in the region.

The business unit has had a factory in Río Grande, Province of Tierra del Fuego AIAS, since 1978. Since 2008 to date, more than US$80 million has been invested to increase quality, productivity and ergonomic standards with the highest international levels.

It also has a Distribution and Manufacturing Center in Carlos Spegazzini, Ezeiza district, Province of Buenos Aires. There it develops different product lines and carries out the logistics operation and distribution to clients throughout the country. It has an area of ​​25,000 m2, built under an AAA warehouse standard, in line with the highest demands in terms of construction quality, safety and the environment, representing an investment of more than US$15 million.

The company develops the production and manufacturing process for third-party brands (OEM). This process involves everything from the selection and technical development of the product, to its production and sale, complying with the highest international standards, including after-sales service.

The business unit has a significant regional sales force in South America with more than 160 members distributed in Argentina, Chile and Peru, reaching more than 1000 Retailers at the regional level.

BGH Tech Partner is the business unit that provides innovative technological solutions, including professional services, multicloud solutions, hybrid solutions, among others, so that private companies and public organizations can have greater competitiveness, visibility of their businesses, and constant improvement in their operations and management, and thus lead the new digital era.

In this space, it is a partner of leading international companies in the segment: Google Cloud, AWS, Dell, Microsoft, among others.

BGH Eco Smart is the business unit linked to energy efficiency & Smart Building solutions for Companies, Governments and People. It integrates Professional Air Conditioning products and services, energy solutions and Building management from consulting to turnkey projects. With the development of photovoltaic solar solutions and sustainability certifications, BGH Eco Smart completes a unique portfolio in the region.

Positivo BGH is the result of the Joint Venture between BGH and Positivo Tecnología, one of the largest computer manufacturers in Brazil and No. 1 in educational technologies. Founded in 2011, Positivo BGH manufactures, markets, distributes and provides technical service for computer products with a wide range of quality equipment for different market segments (consumer, education and business).
