CASIO is pleased to present the DW5600SMB-4 with design elements from the popular Nintendo® video game, Super Mario Bros. This limited edition watch represents the classic 1980s game through its whimsical design and nostalgic theme, as well as Mario's “never give up” attitude, which parallels the spirit of challenge that is still present from the origins of G-SHOCK.

Both G-SHOCK and Super Mario are cultural icons of Japan who have amassed fan bases spanning decades and countries. With this in mind, G-SHOCK brings the world of Super Mario Bros. to life, through a carefully selected design and with fun details that will appeal to all generations of Super Mario lovers: the red color of Mario's clothing on the bezel and dial, the blue backgrounds of the stages of the video game world and the golden details that recall Mario's precious coins.

The base model adopts the DW-5600's square design that represents the iconic G-SHOCK silhouette. Turning on the backlight reveals Mario, and combining it with the glass-printed Koopa Troopa shell at the bottom of the dial reproduces the game's iconic movement. The 8-bit Mario is printed on the strap as if it were camouflage, and all the fonts on the dial are 8-bit to create the atmosphere of 1985.

To commemorate the collaboration, the watch comes in special packaging with an illustration of the video game's home screen and Mario's signature phrase, “Here we go!” (“Here we go!”, in Spanish).
