Electrolux Group was awarded for its “Zero Waste” project
La distinción fue obtenida por su proyecto "Zero Waste to Landfill (Basura Cero)" implementado con éxito en la planta de Rosario.

Electrolux Group, world leader in home appliances, has been recognized with the prestigious Distinction in Corporate Social Responsibility awarded by RSC Comunicativa. These awards have Sustainability and Solidarity as their central axis, recognizing companies and ventures that are friendly to the Environment.
The distinction was awarded for its “Zero Waste to Landfill” project successfully implemented at the Rosario, Argentina plant. This program, certified by the Intertek Business Assurance company, seeks to recycle and reuse 99% of the total waste generated. The goal is ambitious, and demonstrates Electrolux's commitment to environmental sustainability: It works tirelessly to send less than 1% of the waste generated to landfill, thus contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint and climate impact of the company's operations.
To achieve this objective, the company works on the 3R practices: REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE. For several years, concrete actions have been implemented in various areas, such as the recycling of plastic and metals, with the aim of maximizing reuse and minimizing environmental impact.
"We are very happy to receive this distinction that recognizes the culture of sustainability that we have been gradually implementing throughout the organization. We dedicate time, investment, and effort to the development and implementation of more sustainable programs and policies to become a Climate Neutral company. We are working to guarantee a better future for our consumers, our collaborators and the communities around our plant," commented Mariano Noguerón, Manufacturing Director of Electrolux Group.
With this award, Electrolux Group continues to reaffirm its commitment to sustainability and transforming lives for the better.
