At its flagship regional event LG InnoFest 2026 LATAM, held in Cancún (Mexico), LG Electronics (LG) presents a renewed vision for the connected home and announces the new generation of products coming to Argentina. Under the motto “Innovation, moving forward together”, the company not only reveals cutting-edge appliances, but outlines a strategy focused on a deep understanding of the local consumer, strengthening regional production and specific execution for each market in Latin America.

LG's new vision transforms the concept of the “smart home.” It is no longer about giving orders to devices, but rather about creating an ecosystem that learns, adapts and proactively cares for the user. This is the heart of “Home with zero effort” (Zero Labor Home), a space where technology works intuitively to simplify daily routines and free up time for what really matters.

At the center of this ecosystem is LG ThinQ ON, a generative AI home hub designed for natural, conversational interaction. "For LG, AI is much more than algorithms. It is Affective Intelligence. We believe that true innovation begins with empathy, creating an experience that makes life better, easier and warmer,” highlighted William Cho, Global CEO of LG, when presenting this vision.

"In Argentina, the consumer is sophisticated and looks for technology that really simplifies their lives. The overwhelming success of products like the WashTower confirms that we are on the right path," he stated. Enrique Laffue, CEO of LG Argentina. "The innovations we present at InnoFest 2026, from more versatile washing solutions to refrigerators designed for our homes, are the result of listening to and responding to those needs. We are committed to bringing a robust portfolio to the country, supported by strengthened regional production that will directly benefit our customers."

Smart clothing care: beyond washing

Consolidating the success of its laundry category, LG strengthens its line with innovations driven by technology AI Core-Tech, which optimizes each cycle for superior garment care and greater energy efficiency.

  • LG WashCombo: the first 25 kg all-in-one washer-dryer is launched, which integrates washing and drying in a single device. Equipped with DUAL Inverter HeatPump technology, it allows highly energy-efficient low-temperature drying, reducing electricity consumption and the risk of damaging clothing.
  • Expansion of LG WashTower: after the excellent reception in Argentina, the family is expanding with a new 20 kg model and 22 kg versions with LCD panel, which add to the already successful options available, improving usability and space efficiency.
  • Top-loading washing machine: in response to regional preferences, a new 28 kg model is introduced with the EasyUnload design, which reduces the depth of the drum to facilitate the unloading of clothes, a feature designed for the ergonomics of the Latin American user.

The Smart Kitchen: adapted to local tastes

Under the “Fit & Max” concept, LG presents kitchen appliances that combine an integrated aesthetic with ample capacity, adapted to the lifestyles of the region.

  • Refrigerators that take care of food: the new line incorporates AI Fresh technology, which optimizes refrigeration based on usage patterns to keep food fresher for longer. In addition, the exclusive “Cleaning Time” function is introduced, which facilitates maintenance by temporarily deactivating alerts and reducing compressor activity during cleaning.
  • Design and customization: to respond to the high ice consumption, the offer is expanded with Mini Craft Ice. The new InstaView models incorporate the My Color function, which allows you to customize the interior lighting to adapt it to each occasion.

Regional strategy and B2B expansion

LG reinforces its commitment to the local market through two key strategic announcements:

  • New production plant in Brazil: At the end of 2026, a new LG factory will begin operating in Brazil. This plant will reinforce regional production and is key news for Argentina, as it will allow more agile supply and a shorter distribution chain, improving the availability of cutting-edge products.
  • Focus on real estate market (B2B): Leveraging the strong trust of its consumer brand, LG accelerates its expansion in the B2B business. At the event, ultra-luxury kitchen solutions from the SKS (Signature Kitchen Suite) brand and integrated appliance packages were presented, aimed at construction companies and real estate developers seeking to offer added value and unified design in their projects.

“LG InnoFest 2026 marks a key step in our strategy for the region,” concluded Daniel Song, regional CEO of LG Electronics for Latin America. “Through a deep understanding of consumers, strengthening localized production and expanding our businesses, we will continue to consolidate our leadership position in Argentina and throughout Latin America.”
