The measure was made official this Monday through the Official Gazette, through Resolution 144/2022 of the Ministry of Commerce, which is part of the Ministry of Economy.
Resolution 144/2022 specifies the new scope of the extension of the program, valid for the next 6 months. Cell phones with 4G technology were incorporated into the official plan, as long as they are devices produced in the country.
According to the provisions, consumers will be able to purchase goods and services with financing of 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 fixed monthly installments, which will be offered by suppliers and businesses that are members of said Program.
The limit available for installment financing will be determined by the limit set by the credit card issuer with each of its users.
The direct rates of the program will be calculated from the Annual Nominal Rate equivalent to 85% of the fixed-term rate established by the Central Bank for individuals, for 30-day deposits of up to $10 million.
