After the increase in compensatory and punitive interest rates charged by the AFIP, the Federal Administrator of Public Revenues, Leandro Cuccioli, clarified today to the president of CAME, Gerardo Díaz Beltrán, that the measure does not affect the rates at which MSMEs will be able to finance their obligations with payment facilities, and even set a ceiling of 3% monthly interest. “To the extent that reference rates decrease, financing costs will also decrease,” the head of CAME told him.

Business leaders gathered in CAME held a meeting this afternoon at the AFIP headquarters to analyze the impact of the measures and were guaranteed that the rate increases will not generate a considerable impact on small businesses, because the AFIP now set a 3% ceiling for financing plans.
