White is no longer the only protagonist of kitchen furniture. This was reflected in EuroCucina 2026, the international fair dedicated to kitchen design held in Milan, where the new proposals showed a broader palette and a growing combination of materials.

The traditional white kitchen, associated for years with light and minimalist style, is still in force, but it is no longer an exclusive choice. Instead, the proposals presented at the fair incorporated woods, natural tones and more defined colors, in a search for spaces with greater personality.

Among the tones that gained presence are beige, sand, terracotta, brown and green, as well as different wood finishes. The combination of these resources with stone surfaces and textured materials allows you to generate contrasts and modify the appearance of the furniture.

The change is also noticeable in the way the elements are combined. Instead of solving the entire kitchen with a single color, the proposals aim to mix tones and materials in furniture, islands and different sectors of the environment. In this way, the kitchen acquires a more dynamic composition and is visually integrated with the rest of the home.

This aesthetic renewal transcends the European scene and begins to function as a reference for other markets. The trends presented at large international design fairs tend to be transferred, with different rhythms and adaptations, to the proposals of manufacturers and developers from different countries. The incorporation of color and wood in the furniture also responds to a global search for warmer and more personalized environments.

In this context, white does not lose validity, but rather changes its place within the proposal. The warm white and neutral tones are still present, although they now coexist with wood, colors and different textures that provide contrast.

What was seen in Milan thus marks an evolution in the aesthetics of one of the central spaces of the home. White retains its classic status, but shares the spotlight with a broader palette, in a trend that is beginning to spread beyond the kitchens presented at large design fairs.
