The GMW-B5000CS is a vintage manufacturing model that has an evolved exterior with a completely metal structure on all its exteriors, maintaining the square shape of the first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C that was launched in 1983, and that shows its evolution with advanced functions such as radio wave reception (Multiband 6), Solar Power and Smartphone Connectivity that allow automatic time adjustment.

Since the launch of its GMW-B5000 model in 2018, Casio G-SHOCK has continued to develop innovative color schemes and patterns using exclusive combinations, including black ion plating with aged finish and camouflage design to ensure an innovative design in a series that continues to evolve.

The case of the GMW-B5000CS, in addition to maintaining the heritage of the first model, presents a grid design that connects the past and the future as in a time tunnel. A “near future” design with prominent, silver lines was forged by applying a black ion plating finish to the frame, strap and buckle surface, while highlighting the underlying color scheme by using a laser to carve the lattice pattern.

As with the base model, the GMW-B5000CS comes equipped with smartphone connectivity that allows automatic time adjustment four times a day and makes it easy to select the city for world time. Likewise, it allows you to configure the clock functions in an easy and intuitive way, and other features such as the automatic, high-brightness LED backlight.
