1. Consider the size of the air conditioner before selecting the one that is suitable for the place where it will be placed. When we say size, we mean the cooling capacity of the air conditioning unit.

2. Understand how much cooling/heating is needed for that space. For this, the BTU (British Thermal Unit) must be considered, a measure of how much energy an air conditioner consumes to remove heat from the place in one hour. Correct BTU calculation ensures that the air conditioner will provide efficient cooling without increasing electricity consumption. This analysis can also be carried out previously by a specialist/technician.

3. Get advice regarding the durability and performance offered by the different equipment. In this sense, all LG equipment has Gold Fin™ technology, which ensures that the surface is more resistant to corrosion and improves the durability of the heat exchanger for a much longer period.

4. It is advisable to choose low-consumption equipment, identified as category A, which consumes less energy than B or C.
