Sony Electronics Inc. announced at the IFA 2019 consumer electronics fair in Berlin, Germany, the launch of three new portable audio products, including the WI-1000XM2 headphones, to expand the renowned 1000X family of noise-cancelling headphones, already with 3 different models for all tastes. In addition, the WH-H910N headphones and the new NW-A105 Android™ Walkman compatible with Streaming services.

“Sony has been a pioneer in revolutionary audio technology from the launch of the first Walkman to today's industry-leading noise cancellation technology with the 1000X family of headphones,” said Koichiro Tokunaga, Marketing Director of Sony Electronics Latin America. “We are focused on providing the best audio experience for all our customers and with these new products, we feel confident that we can continue to provide them with equipment with our hallmark of sound quality.”

With the new WI-1000XM2 the user immerses themselves in their music and eliminates background noise. Its stable fit structure with an angled earcup design helps prevent unwanted ambient sounds from entering your ear, while Dual Noise Sensor technology captures any noise. Sony's QN1 HD Noise Canceling Processor cancels external sound, resulting in an improved level of noise suppression. Even the ambient echo of aircraft cabins is effectively canceled thanks to the Atmospheric Pressure Optimization function.

Although its dimensions are very compact, surprisingly, Sony managed to include in the headphones an HD Hybrid Driver System, which contains a 9mm dynamic driver and a Balanced Armature driver, which recognizes surprising and wide-range frequencies reproducing clear sounds, from deep bass to high and delicate tones. This model also offers outstanding battery life of up to 10 hours and fast charging capability, where 10 minutes of charging provides another 80 minutes of playtime.

The WI-1000XM2 offers enhanced comfort with a silicone headband for a flexible fit and lighter weight. The earbuds can be folded into their premium quality fabric case with exact precision, which can also store an audio cable, a USB cable, and a charger adapter for in-flight entertainment.

The WI-1000XM2 model will have an approximate average price for Latin America of US$299 and will be available in the region starting in 2020 depending on the country. To know the product specifications, please visit the following link.
