The Argentine Association of Electric and Alternative Vehicles (AAVEA) will celebrate a new edition of the World EV Day, World Electric Vehicle Day, next Sunday September 13, with an open and free meeting in the ACA Driving School “Juan Manuel Fangio”, in Palermo.

The day will take place 9 to 16 hours at the headquarters located in Casares Avenue 3901, in front of the Planetarium of the City of Buenos Aires. It will be the fourth edition of the meeting held in Argentina, after the conferences organized by AAVEA in 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2025 it was not held.

He World EV Day It is celebrated internationally every September 9 and was created by ABB y Green TV with the aim of promoting awareness about electric mobility and the benefits of sustainable transportation alternatives.

In this edition, AAVEA will bring together owners of electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as companies, professionals and brands linked to sustainable mobility. The meeting offers a space to learn more about different initiatives that are part of the development of electromobility in the country.

Vehicles, technology and mobility projects

Among the proposals that attendees will be able to see is the exhibition of 100% electric and hybrid vehicles, both models of the participating companies and units belonging to private users.

There will also be room for engineering and retrofit projects, linked to the conversion of conventional vehicles to electric propulsion and the development of technologies applied to mobility.

Another of the axes will be placed in the urban mobility and charging solutions, with the presentation of infrastructure and equipment intended for both the domestic environment and public roads, as well as micromobility alternatives.

The meeting will also include the participation of educational institutions, professionals and companies, with spaces dedicated to exchange and networking around the challenges and opportunities posed by the transition towards lower-emission mobility.

With entrance free and free, the call is aimed at families, students, professionals, users of electrified vehicles and people interested in learning more about new mobility alternatives.

Thus, AAVEA resumes the Argentine meeting in 2026 for the World EV Day with a day that will combine exhibition, exchange and experiences linked to electric mobility.
