Sony introduced the new WF-1000XM4 earbuds from the acclaimed 1000X series, taking noise cancellation and audio quality to the next level thanks to the new V1 integrated processor chip.

"This new launch confirms Sony's interest in offering our consumers the best earbuds in the industry. In each new version of the 1000X series, we listen to user needs and improve its main features to please the most demanding tastes," commented Fernando Silveira, headphone category manager for Sony Latin.

Industry-leading noise cancellation, the new V1 integrated processor chip specially developed by Sony, surpasses the previous model. Two microphones detect and analyze noise, providing highly accurate noise cancellation.

Exceptional sound and call quality, the new chip improves sound quality and reduces distortion, allows LDAC codec processing and incorporates DSEE technology which results in high-resolution wireless audio. LDAC transmits approximately three times more data than conventional Bluetooth audio, allowing you to enjoy high-resolution audio, as close as possible to the quality of a wired connection.

Hands-free calling and accurate voice capture Microphones and a bone conduction sensor allow the WF-1000XM4 to capture voice clearly and accurately on hands-free calls and isolate vibrations from the user's voice.

360 Reality Audio Experience, when using the new WF-1000XM4 earbuds with an Android/iPhone smartphone with a compatible streaming application, you will enjoy the immersive 360 ​​Reality Audio experience and can immerse yourself in your favorite music.

The acclaimed Speak-to-Chat feature allows users to chat without removing the earbuds. When recognizing the user's speech, the WF-1000XM4 pauses the music and enables ambient sound; when the conversation ends, the music plays automatically. Intuitive Touch Controls allow users to easily activate Noise Canceling, Ambient Sound or Quick Attention modes in addition to skipping, pausing or playing songs.

For its part, Adaptive Sound Control is an intelligent feature that detects where users are and what they are doing, adjusting sound settings for an ideal listening experience. Thanks to a proximity sensor, the Wear Detection function pauses the music when the earbuds are removed and resumes once the user puts them back on.

Compact design and a stable fit with the new ear pads made of an exclusive soft and elastic polyurethane foam material, improves grip and eliminates voids to isolate sound and reduce noise. The earbuds are 10% lighter than their predecessor, and the charging case is 40% smaller; However, they offer incredible battery life, up to 8 hours of use with the earbuds and an additional 16 hours with the case, for a total of 24 hours. Plus, a quick 5-minute charge provides up to 60 minutes of playtime. And if that were not enough, now the earbuds and case can be charged without the need for cables, with Qi wireless charging technology.

Waterproof thanks to the IPX4 rating, sweat and splashes won't be able to stop the WF-1000XM4 earbuds. Users can continue moving to the beat of the music, even when they are running in the rain.

Easy pairing and voice assistant capabilities, just say “Hey Google” or “Alexa” to activate the voice assistant of your choice.

The environmentally friendly packaging, made from bamboo, sugar cane fibers and post-consumer blended paper, is designed to offer true sustainability from manufacturing to recycling and is a durable material developed by Sony that produces less environmental impact than virgin plastics.
