Samsung: new DVM S2 air conditioner with AI and WindFree™ technology
The new system offers greater comfort and high energy efficiency, even in extreme weather conditions.

The new system offers greater comfort and high energy efficiency, even in extreme weather conditions.
Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its new DVM S2 outdoor air conditioning (VRF) unit that was redesigned to offer greater comfort and energy efficiency, which not only presents functional and structural improvements but also incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Technological innovations with AI
Artificial Intelligence is capable of recognizing environmental conditions to offer optimized performance in both cold and heat as well as real-time detection of refrigerant losses in the system. Additionally, AI low pressure control learns cold running patterns and reaches target temperature faster, saving energy.
Another technological incorporation of great relevance is the self-diagnosis system to determine the correct operation of compressors and inverter plates, which leads to better and easier maintenance.
Renewed design
The new DVM S2 is more aerodynamic and allows for quieter operation compared to previous generations, thanks to the implementation of “eagle owl wing” technology on the fan blades, making them multi-toothed to reduce vortices and the noise level.
At a structural level it has a more robust frame to offer an improved outdoor unit for greater reliability and durability. The surface area of the heat exchangers has been increased and the internal volume of the compressor has increased, which has allowed the operating range in cold mode to be expanded up to 50°C ambient temperature and has a static pressure in the fans of the outdoor unit of up to 110 pascals, which makes it possible to face increasingly challenging projects.
Equipment with greater versatility
This new line offers more flexible equipment that manages to reduce the section of copper pipe up to one size, which allows optimizing the installation and offering an efficient and competitive solution. This translates into a more environmentally friendly system, since lowering the refrigerant charge in the systems reduces the potential for damage to the ozone layer.
DVM S2 is the sixth generation of air conditioning that is introduced to the market to offer precision, greater comfort and energy efficiency.
