Business Integration turns 30 years old
30 years after the launch, we celebrate three decades with the sector we choose: informing, accompanying and connecting home and technology supplier companies.

BUSINESS INTEGRATION was born with the objective of communicating to the household goods sector and bringing news from supplier companies to all distribution channels.
None of this would have been possible without the support of each of these companies, not only receiving their news and communications, but also visiting them.
This is how in 1997, shortly after this magazine went on the market, we saw the Alladio plant and a few years later the Ormay plant. Being where events took place and the market developed was a constant from the early years, and involved visits to companies in San Francisco and all the technology companies installed in Ushuaia and Río Grande.
That closeness to the marketdo was not limited to the country. Since 1999, when we visited the Domotechnica in Germany, the assistance of BUSINESS INTEGRATION at international fairs such as Confortec, in Paris; HouseWares, in Chicago and CES, in Las Vegas.
With the help of Carlos Clur and the invaluable support of his father, José, who contributed decades of business experience and his long history of work in this sector, a means of communication was created from scratch that shortly after being launched became indispensable so that the supplier companies and the distribution channel were permanently in communication.

WE WERE WITNESSES OF INFINITY OF CHANGES
We witnessed countless changes, from the expansion of this sector in the supermarket segment to the current omnichannel, where everything has to do with everything.
Three decades with the sector
Before the year 2000, we began to see how computing put a disruptive touch on traditional household goods stores, which were generally unaware of the computing business as much as computing was ignorant of everything about the mechanisms of this channel.
We saw the arrival of DVD when it was estimated that in 2000 its players would have replaced VHS and in 1998 the market would range between 3,000 to 5,000 of these devices. Streaming was just science fiction.
In 2005 we reflected the launch in Brazil of Eletrolar Show, the first fair venture in this sector, accompanied by Eletrolar News, the group's second publication. It was the beginning of the fair enterprise that has not stopped evolving since then.
In 30 years we saw this sector truly become that of “household items”, because nothing that is used in a home is no longer in our stores. Having passed three decades is not little. What we propose going forward, neither. Thank you all for joining us.
