Since the launch of the GA-2100 in 2019, a contemporary interpretation of the first G-SHOCK – the DW-5000C – the slim, simple and streamlined design of the 2100 line has proven popular, especially among younger consumers.

These new impact-resistant GM-B2100 watches employ stainless steel as the outer material for the case, strap and bezel, propelling the 2100 line forward in both all-metal construction and sharp, sophisticated design. To ensure impact resistance in these metal-clad watches, the sturdy structure created for the iconic all-metal GMW-B5000 shape was also adopted for the screwed case, strap and bezel joints of these watches, with fine resin shock-absorbing components installed between the bezel and case.

The bezel, subjected to meticulous processes, first forging, then cutting and polishing, is precisely designed for an intricately shaped dial that attracts attention with its solidity and style. To accentuate the beauty of the metal, the components are treated with different finishes: the bezel with a circular fine finish on the top surface, the strap with a vertical fine finish, and the bezel bezel, buttons and case back with a mirror finish. The dial is made up of multiple parts to create depth and dimension, while the dial ring inset at the 9 o'clock position and index marks are treated with a vapor deposition finish for a truly quality looking watch face.

The three new watches are the silver GM-B2100D with shiny stainless steel, the elegant GM-B2100BD with black ion plating and the GM-B2100GD with shiny rose gold, for versatility suitable for every style and occasion.

The new watches also provide practical utility with a Tough Solar charging system that eliminates the need to replace the battery regularly. They are also equipped with Smartphone Link* connectivity via Bluetooth® for accurate timekeeping and easy setting of alarms, countdown timers, world time and more.
